Marya has 20 years of creative production and media direction experience. Working in the mediums of photography, video and digital content for websites, mobile apps, online, commercial and print media. Currently Marya is a senior producer for The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard, as well as a photographer and web series host.  Formerly the Photo Director of Digital content for Playboy Enterprises, Marya oversaw all creative direction for Playboy’s digital platforms for three years. Before her jump to Digital Media, Marya was producing covers and celebrity features with photographers Matt Jones, Nino Munoz, Chris McPherson, Frank Ockenfels, Kenneth Cappello, Sheryl Nields and Steven Shaw. Her experience with many of the top fashion and celebrity photographers such as Steven Meisel, Ellen Von Unwerth, Inez and Vinood Matadin and Craig McDean,  stems from her time with Art+Commerce and from working for Chris Dougherty at Premiere Magazine. Marya has worked in photography departments of Premiere Magazine, Spotty Dog Productions, More Magazine, Dennis Publishing, Inked Magazine, Maxim Magazine, UFG Magazine and Playboy.

Marya has won four  SPD merit awards including two for photo shoots with actor Tracy Morgan and iconic musician Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead.  In addition, a Lauren Greenfield photo shoot Marya produced for Teen People was one of Time Magazine’s 2006 Photos of the Year.

From creative oversight to production details, Marya lives and breathes visual media in all forms.
